How to fix when Chrome won’t open
1-It is possible that Chrome is already running. You may want to check if Chrome is already open. Here is how you can check this:

3-If you do not see Google Chrome in the Force Quit menu (see tip#1), follow the steps below:
- Go to the Finder of your Mac.
- From the “Go” menu select “Go to Folder”
- Enter this:
- ~/Library/Application Support
- And click Go
- This will open a folder
- Find the ‘Google’ named folder
- Right click the folder and click Get Info
- Click Sharing & Permissions to open the section
- Click to Lock icon (bottom right corner) to unlock it. You need to be an admin and then enter your password.
- Find the user who is having the Chrome opening problem and click its Privilege
- Change Privilege from ‘Read Only’ to ‘Read & Write’.
- Now click the Settings icon and select ‘Apply to enclosed items.’
- Click Ok and try restarting the Chrome app.
4– If nothing helps you, you may want to try removing Google Chrome and then downloading and reinstalling. It is possible that your Google Chrome browser files may be corrupted and that is why it is now working. To uninstall Chrome, open Finder and click Applications. Then drag Google Chrome to the Trash. And then like the step number #3, select Finder and, from the Menu bar, click Go and then Go to Folder and enter ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome and click Go. A new window will open. Select all the folders, and drag them to the Trash. This completely removes Google Chrome. Now you can go head and download and install again.

Open Files in Chromebook
To launch Files in your Chromebook, follow these steps:
Click the App Launcher icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
The App Launcher opens.

Search for files
If you would like to search for a specific file, you can do so by following these steps:
Click the magnifying glass icon on the far right of your Files toolbar.
A cursor appears in the Search bar.
Type in the word or words that are in the name of the file you desire.
As you type, Chrome displays all files that fit your search term.
Delete files and folders
Deleting files and folders can be accomplished with the following steps:
Click the App Launcher icon in the bottom-left corner.
The App Launcher appears.
Locate the Files icon and click it.
Files opens in a window that is not a Chrome browser.
Select the file that you wish to delete by clicking or tapping the file once.
Click the trash can icon located in the bottom-right corner of the Files app window.
Once you click the trash can icon, your file is gone forever. That’s right. There is no trash, no recycle bin, and no opportunity to change your mind. Once you delete an item, it evaporates into the ether.
Make sure you really don’t need a file any longer before you delete it!
You can delete multiple files and folders: First, select them by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the files (or tapping on the files with your touchpad). Then press the trash can icon in the lower-right of the Files app window to delete all the selected files at once.

If your files are all in a row, you can select them more easily by pressing the Shift key+click and then moving the cursor to highlight the sequential files.
