At first, I did a clean install with my Tiger upgrade DVD. Then I read that it's best to 'zero out' my hard drive. So I did that, using the 7 times option. Now I can't reinstall the system software from the Tiger DVD since it needs to see OS 10.3 installed already. Fair enough. So I started up from the original PowerBook G4 install DVD, OS version 10.3.7..but for some reason I keep getting the message 'Bundled Software Cannot Be Installed On The Computer.' Huh? I am quite certain this is the correct DVD. It says PowerBook G4 12inch Install Disc. I have zeroed out the hard drive a couple more times, plus partitioned using the 1 partition option. I'm stumped. Any suggestions?? Thanks all! Bundled Group Of Software ProgramsI'm running an Intel Macbook pro with Tiger, and have the original install discs. I deleted garage band b/c it took up too much room, and now i want to reinstall it. When I boot from the disc, it says 'Alert cannot install bundled software'. Kodak esp 7 software download for mac. I've also tried just a regular startup, clicking on the disk, and clicking on INSTALL BUNDLED SOFTWARE'. |
