Logitech Harmony Remote Software is an application that allows you to connect the remote to your computer and fully configure it to the devices that you need to control. This application allows you to add it using the wizard. All you need to do is provide the manufacturer’s name and model number for the device, and if it’s in the Harmony database, it will be added automatically.
After one or more devices have been added you can add several devices in one wizard, the application synchronizes the information to your MyHarmony account. From there you can also change your button mappings if you want to assign a different function to one of them.
You don’t need to configure the buttons and controls for that right away because it’s already equipped with full mapping for each device. All you have to do is choose the type of activity that the device does. Jun 23, 2020 Bluetooth devices can be difficult to pair. I recently had to reset a Harmony hub because I was having strange issues happening. I had to call Harmony support to help me pair a Apple TV, Fire TV and Nvidia Shield. The Shield was the most difficult but after rebooting hub and even at one point my router, we finally got them all to pair. Adding devices to your Harmony Hub via desktop software couldn't be easier! All you need is the manufacturer and model number of each device. Add your television, Blu-ray/4k/DVD player, receiver/stereo, Tivo/DVR, Apple TV/Roku to devices. When you add each device the software will ask you specific questions regarding how you control each. Need help with email ID? If you are using a Harmony Touch, Ultimate One, Ultimate, Ultimate Home, 950, or Elite, on your remote tap on Menu Settings General Account.
