With macOS Catalina, you’ll find your backup, update and restore options right in the Finder. 5 hours ago  On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap the My Watch tab. Tap General, followed by Software Update. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update. Sep 21, 2012  (When I try to use my iPhone to update, it tells me to do exactly this.) I went to the iTunes store and clicked on 'App store'. On the lower right, I see a list of 'Top Free Apps.' There's no 'check for updates' link. Remember, I'm using iTunes on my PC. The reason is that I don't have wifi here so can't use the iPhone itself to update.
