Mac Could Not Download The Windows Support Software
Whart exactly are you having problems with?
Installing Boot Camp, manually updating the B.C. Drivers, Apple software update updating the drivers, or Windows Software updates?
Dec 13, 2017 Whenever I get to the Windows support software download portion, whether I do it in isolation from the Action tab or as part of the Boot Camp process (checked in isolation and together with the other 2 options), I get the following message: The Windows support software could not be saved to the selected drive. Moreover, the install disk and the recovery disk are showing that the MBP is still on Lion - the install disk is still showing the 'install Snow Leopard' dialogue box while the recovery disk is showing the option 'Set up and restore Lion' (or something like that, I can't remember), while when choosing the startup disk, it shows 'Macintosh HD Mac OS X 10.6.7'!
You will or have a full Windows install. _ALL_ Microsoft Windows software is through Microsoft or 3rd partys. Apple just supplies the drivers for their hardware to be run in Windows.

Underneath the hardrive picture is a link for _Downloads_, it shows up as an error in my browser but when i put in 'Boot Camp' in the 'Search Downloads' bar I got a large list.

How to start up in macOS from Windows
