My Macbook Pro came with Snow Leopard. I upgraded the OS to Mountain Lion, 10.8.5. I want to do a factory reset, but I can't seem to get the computer to enter Recovery Mode. The computer also won't let me erase the hard drive or reinstall off of the Mac OS X Snow Leopard install CD's that came with it when new. I have a Time Machine backup on an external hard drive.
