The Mac operating system does have a control panel. Look in the Apple menu (upper left corner of the screen) and select *System Preferences*. Most general system configuration is done here.
To remove and application, most of the time you just drag that application from its current location to the trash. Some residual preference files will remain but they are nothing to worry about. Some applications come with their own uninstall programs, and these should be used where possible.

Apr 18, 2019 The Control4 for PC-Mac software stopped working on my MacBook Pro. I've uninstalled Adobe Air and Control4 for PC-Mac multiple times and nothing changes. I've searched folders for anything Adobe Air and Control 4 related and deleted those files and reinstalled and nothing changes. When I open the software I get a black screen.
